Ok, the Phillies beat the Nationals 4-0 last night. They really need to take this series. Tip of the hat to Chase Utley for his attempt to steal home and subsequent man-up plowing over of Nationals catcher Jesus Flores. Even though he was called out, Charlie Manuel says it was a great play.
Unfortunately the Mets (of course) also won. So no change in the NL East standings.
Phillies play the Nationals again tonight at 7:10 pm.
